About Idle Vibe Coding Tycoon

Idle Vibe Coding Tycoon is a solo-developer, for-fun side project — an idle game about vibe coding, poking gentle fun at the AI-assisted-coding era: burning tokens, hiring an ever-growing team of AI agents, and prestiging your way toward AGI. No studio, no roadmap meetings, just something built because idle games are fun and the vibe coding moment felt like it deserved one.

Why it exists

Partly nostalgia for Cookie Clicker and its many descendants, partly a running joke about how much of software work now involves prompting rather than typing. The building names and upgrade descriptions are little in-jokes for anyone who's spent time around AI coding tools — hopefully a few make you smirk.

How it's built

A small React + TypeScript app, no backend required to actually play — your progress lives in your browser. Optional bits (cloud save, real-money buffs, ads) exist because keeping a free site running costs a little, but none of them are required to enjoy the game.
